Community Guidelines

1. Respect Every Participant

All participants are expected to treat others with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

You must not engage in: - Harassment or bullying. - Hate speech or discrimination. - Personal attacks or insults. - Threatening, abusive, or intimidating behaviour. - Offensive, obscene, or inappropriate language. - Disruptive behaviour during live sessions.

Respect different backgrounds, opinions, cultures, and learning abilities.

2. Appropriate Conduct During Live Sessions

During live classes, workshops, and hackathons, participants should: - Join sessions on time. - Participate respectfully. - Follow instructions provided by instructors and moderators. - Keep discussions relevant to the session. - Use appropriate language in chat and discussions. - Mute microphones when requested. - Avoid disrupting sessions.

Repeated disruption may result in removal from the session.

3. Academic Integrity

Participants are expected to complete assignments, projects, and hackathon submissions honestly.

You must not: - Copy another participant's work. - Submit someone else's work as your own. - Falsify project results. - Misrepresent your contribution in a team project. - Use unauthorised materials where originality is required.

Where AI tools are permitted, participants should use them responsibly and acknowledge their use where instructed.

4. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence

Our Programs teach the use of modern AI technologies.

Participants are expected to: - Verify AI-generated outputs before relying on them. - Use AI ethically and responsibly. - Respect the terms and conditions of third-party AI platforms. - Avoid generating unlawful, harmful, offensive, or misleading content. - Never use AI to facilitate academic dishonesty, fraud, or illegal activities.

Participants remain responsible for all content they create or submit, regardless of whether AI assisted in its creation.

5. Respect Intellectual Property

All course materials provided by NextGen InnovateLabs are protected by intellectual property laws.

Participants must not: - Record live classes without permission. - Upload course materials to public websites. - Share login credentials. - Redistribute presentations, videos, worksheets, recordings, or other learning materials. - Copy or reproduce course content without written permission.

Similarly, participants should respect the intellectual property rights of others when submitting projects.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

Participants should respect the privacy of everyone involved in the Program.

You must not: - Share another participant's personal information. - Record or photograph participants without permission. - Share meeting links publicly. - Disclose confidential discussions or materials intended only for enrolled learners.

Where sessions are officially recorded by NextGen InnovateLabs, recordings will be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Appropriate Communication

Whether communicating through email, discussion forums, messaging groups, or live sessions, participants should: - Be polite and constructive. - Respect differing opinions. - Avoid spam or repeated unsolicited messages. - Avoid excessive self-promotion. - Refrain from sharing misleading or false information.

Healthy discussion is encouraged; personal attacks are not.

8. Safe and Lawful Use

Participants must not use our Programs or community platforms to: - Engage in unlawful activities. - Share malicious software or harmful code. - Attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts. - Promote violence, hatred, or illegal conduct. - Distribute offensive or inappropriate content.

Any activity that compromises the safety or security of the community may result in immediate removal.

9. Hackathon and Project Conduct

Where Programs include hackathons or collaborative projects, participants are expected to: - Work honestly within their assigned teams. - Respect teammates and mentors. - Meet submission deadlines. - Follow published competition rules. - Accept judging decisions respectfully.

The decisions of judges and organisers regarding evaluations, rankings, and awards shall be final.

10. Parents and Guardians

For learners who are minors, parents and guardians are encouraged to: - Support responsible participation. - Supervise younger learners where appropriate. - Help ensure respectful online behaviour. - Assist learners in understanding these Guidelines.

Parents should promptly notify us if they become aware of any safety or conduct concerns.

11. Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness behaviour that violates these Guidelines, please report it to us promptly.

Reports may include concerns relating to: - Harassment - Bullying - Inappropriate conduct - Technical misuse - Safety issues - Academic misconduct - Copyright infringement

We will review reports fairly and confidentially wherever reasonably possible.

12. Enforcement

Failure to comply with these Guidelines may result in one or more of the following actions, depending on the seriousness of the conduct: - Verbal or written warning. - Removal from a live session. - Removal from community platforms or discussion groups. - Temporary suspension of access. - Permanent termination of enrollment. - Disqualification from competitions or hackathons. - Withholding of certificates where misconduct materially affects eligibility. - Further action where required by law.

Serious violations may be reported to parents or legal guardians where the participant is a minor.

Except where required by law, disciplinary actions taken under these Guidelines do not entitle a participant to any refund.

13. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our Programs, community practices, technology, or legal requirements.

Where material changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify participants through our website, email, or learning platform.

Continued participation in our Programs after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
